Who will this scholarship fund impact?
The Fairmount Scholarship Fund will directly impact Fairmount students, offering merit and needs-based scholarships for all class disciplines. In augmenting Fairmount's current scholarship funds, this fund will offer even more opportunities for students to receive the support they need to succeed in their creative journeys.
Why Now?
Now is the perfect time for Fairmount to begin this initiative as we continue to celebrate our 55th anniversary season! It has also become increasingly clear that this is a need for our community. Fairmount has received an influx of scholarship requests and has seen an uptick in the number of families opting for installment plans. We are attentive to these needs and want to be able to serve our community to the best of our abilities.

Yes! Fairmount Center for Creative & Performing Arts (DBA Fairmount Center for the Arts) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization (EIN: 23-7199754). All charitable contributions made to Fairmount are fully tax deductible.
Did you know you can benefit from your charitable donations even if you don't itemize?
You can take a special deduction for your charitable contributions of up to $1,000 for single filers and $2,000 for married couples filing jointly. This is an "above-the-line" deduction, meaning it reduces your taxable income directly, and you can claim it in addition to taking the standard deduction all while making incredible impact here at Fairmount!
