Editor, author and poet Angela Gartner will help young writers learn a variety of poetry forms—structure, rhyme and the famous poets who use them. Participants will then write their own poems to share with the class! Last class includes a share out for family and friends (last 30 minutes of each class). Attend class from anywhere and invite family and friends to log on and learn together!

One-Day Election Day Camp- Ages 5-10 years

One-day camps at Fairmount offer a day of arts (each camp day differs with activities exploring dance, theatre, art and more!), learning, and FUN! Early drop-off (8:30-9am) offered for no additional charge for all AM camps that begin at 9am. Campers bring a packed lunch, water bottle and dress appropriately for hands-on arts explorations and outdoor play (as weather permits). All supplies included.
