Homeschool Programs
Enrich your student's art experiences with Fairmount Center's Homeschool Program
Create and connect with other homeschoolers in Geauga County and surrounding areas! In this program students will explore all the various art forms Fairmount Center has to offer. Our homeschool arts curriculum is developmentally appropriate, built around Ohio’s fine arts learning standards. We follow the prescribed enduring understandings of Creating, Performing, Responding, and Connecting as a guide.
Check out our class registration policies here.
Multi-Arts Program
Give your child a rich, creative experience as they rotate through Fairmount’s four core artistic disciplines: art, music, dance, and theatre. Designed especially for our youngest homeschool students, this well-rounded program nurtures imagination, self-expression, and foundational skills in every art form. Each day includes snack and lunch breaks, giving kids time to recharge and connect with friends. Snack breaks may be taken outside, with weather permitting.
The final week of each session features a Sharing Day, where students can proudly showcase what they’ve learned and created. Teaching artists utilize student input throughout the week to help shape the content shared, making the experience more personal and collaborative. All supplies are provided by Fairmount—just bring your curiosity and creativity!

STEAM Homeschool Program in Chardon
We are thrilled to announce that we are partnering with Great Lakes Science Center to create a unique drop-off STEAM offering for homeschoolers ages 5 to 18 at our location on historic Chardon Square. Bringing together equal parts Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) with the multi-arts enrichment you know and love from Fairmount, these STEAM classes will encourage children to explore the world through experimentation and creativity.
Winter Session: Art & Anatomy
Join us in this exciting program where art and anatomy collide! Students will learn about the different parts of plant, animal, and human bodies using art as a creative tool for exploration. Students will have the opportunity to take a guided field trip to the Great Lakes Science Center during the session to further support their educational journeys.
Spring Session: Art & The Environment
In this program, students will become art explorers! Students will delve into the local flora and fauna, and how the arts can support recycling and sustainability initiatives to help our planet. Great Lakes Science Center will lead lessons around weather, environmental science, and the Earth!
