NEW THIS SUMMER! Songwriting (Group Class)

In addition to private music lessons, The Fairmount Center is offering a new Songwriting group class for students ages 8+. Whether you like Country, Pop, R&B, Jazz or Broadway, learn the elements to writing a great lyric and melody, as well as the different formats of songwriting, marketing, and what goes into production. View our catalog to learn more or click here to sign up!

Take private (one-on-one) music lessons in voice, piano, violin, trumpet, guitar, ukulele or saxophone. Lessons are designed for ages 5 and up (age varies by instrument), and are offered for the novice through advanced player. We’re here to meet your needs! Music lessons will be offered in-person AND online for select instructors for the summer session.

Students participating in music lessons are welcome to perform in recitals that are presented in the winter (culminating our Fall Session) and spring (culminating our Winter/Spring Session). These recitals feature the Fairmount Center’s students and faculty and are always free and open to the community.

The Fairmount Center provides private music instruction in piano, voice, violin, trumpet, guitar, and more.

The arts are alive at Fairmount! Great place for learning and sharing painting, drawing, dance, music, sculpture, pottery, acting and other art forms. Fun, supportive environment. Cool building. – L. Weber, Parent
