Music Lessons

Music Lessons and Classes

Learning music is like taking your brain to the gym: pumping up your memory and cognition while also training your patience, perseverance, and communication skills. Not only will you be tuning instruments, but you’ll also be tuning your fine motor skills, coordination, and your ability to multitask all while:

  • Boosting self-confidence
  • Strengthening the communication centers of your brain
  • Providing space for emotional introspection to calm the mind

Can you hear the applause yet? Join a music class and let’s get your brain to the gym!

Private music lessons in piano, violin, guitar, ukulele, viola, flute, voice, and more are available at the Fairmount Center both in Novelty and in Chardon! Students participating in Fairmount Center music lessons are welcome to perform in recitals that are presented in December (culminating our Fall Session) and May (culminating our Winter/Spring Session).
