Join Us for our first ever, one-of-a-kind, drive-in dance and movie experience. Designed to showcase Fairmount Center dancers, The Show Goes On features recorded dances from our students, plus snippets from other programs and people connected to Fairmount, on the big screen at the Mayfield Drive-in.
The evening will also be a double-feature! After the screening of this unique arts program, we will be showing the movie, “Leap!” (2016).
Fairmount presents: Nutcracker at Home (Past Event)
Enjoy Nutcracker at Home– again and again and again! Fairmount is so grateful for the opportunity to professionally film our performers to give everyone a magical holiday experience for the year 2020! This video is available here to watch, as well as our YouTube Channel: https://youtu.be/ukYvb03jo88
Nutcracker at Home includes dance, music, and fun. Fairmount faculty and dancers perform scenes from The Nutcracker and a professional musician leads a family sing-along. Plus, the program ends with a visit from a special guest from the North Pole!
Sam Brenner and Friends:
A Night for the ARTS
RESCHEDULED for 2021– Details to be announced at a later date!
We are excited to announce the new date for our “Night for the ARTS: Sam Brenner and Friends” performance! All tickets already purchased will be honored at the new event date and location found above.
About Sam Brenner:
Did you know that Fairmount has a new board member who was named one of Northeast Ohio’s “25 Artists to Watch” by The Plain Dealer, “Artist of the Week” by Scene Magazine, and has opened for Lifehouse, The Verve Pipe, Lee DeWyze (American Idol winner), Griffin House, and Bushwalla? His name is Sam Brenner and we are thrilled that he’ll be headlining a one-night-only concert at Mayfield Village Civic Center. All proceeds of the concert will benefit Fairmount.
To preview some of Sam’s music, you can find his songs on iTunes, Spotify, and YouTube. His harmonious debut album, Where We Begin, showcases an emotional depth & subtle confidence that is rare in most young musicians. His Here at Home EP highlights his growth, both musically and personally. At the core of Sam’s music are his lyrics – honest commentaries that seem easily relatable and delicately personal to the human experience.
But it was Sam’s live performances that captivated audiences in clubs, coffeehouses, and colleges around the country. Through a melodic combination of vocal & guitar looping techniques, Sam’s live show is purely unique and something you won’t want to miss.
