Natural and Abstracted Views of Nature: A Fresh Perspective on the World Around Us

Screens, deadlines, and busy schedules can make it easy to forget the simple beauty all around us. Natural and Abstracted Views of Nature, our current exhibition at Fairmount’s Novelty location, is a gentle reminder to pause, explore, and reconnect with the world outside.

Featuring the work of six local artists from the Euclid Art Association, this exhibition showcases a blend of traditional landscapes and more imaginative interpretations of the natural world.

From realistic depictions of forests, skies, and wildlife to abstracted forms inspired by organic shapes and movement, each piece offers a unique perspective on the beauty that surrounds us.

Here’s a closer look at a featured work from each of the six artists featured in the exhibition:

Rozenia Cunningham, the exhibition’s coordinator and president of the Euclid Art Association, shares that the collection “encourages us to expand our understanding of nature as a form of art.”

Natural and Abstracted Views of Nature is on view now through May 15, 2026, at Fairmount Center for the Arts’ Novelty campus, with a closing reception on May 15 from 6:00–7:30 p.m.

We invite you to stop by and enjoy this thoughtful collection of artwork inspired by the world just outside our doors.

Viewings are by appointment only. Please call 440-338-3171 to schedule yours today!
