Participating in a regular exercise routine is good for your body and your mind! Fairmount offers weekly classes for adults to keep you active and agile with a community of like-minded individuals.

Yoga/Deep Relaxation

  • Yoga as a workout is wonderfully versatile and adaptable. It’s numerous modifications create an accessible workout that yogis of any age or skill level can comfortably participate. Yoga is iconically known for helping to reduce stress and anxiety, but it can also reduce your injury risk as it helps to increase your strength and mobility in lesser-used muscle groups. Yoga has also been scientifically proven to aid with osteoporosis, arthritis, low back pain, high blood pressure, and tension headaches among many other common ailments.

  • Treat yourself! Be guided into a state of deep relaxation in the comfort of your own home with this Zoom-only class. Join us live on Mondays or use the weekly recordings on your schedule. Set up in a quiet space with a yoga mat, blanket, bolster, or pillow.

High Energy Exercise

  • Have fun and exercise with us in this cardio, Latin-inspired dance class!  All levels are welcome.

Senior Focused

  • Specifically designed for seniors ages 60+, this fitness class will incorporate both standing and seated postures and movements using chairs and dance barres as props. No need to get on the floor! Adapted for various abilities. Chairs and dance barres provided. Bring a yoga mat and optional light hand weights.
