These small classes for adults allow for customized instruction in a supportive environment. Bond with like-minded classmates while taking in Fairmount’s artistic surroundings.
Drop-in classes are ongoing for the Fall ’23 class session through December 16. Drop-ins are always available for fitness classes at $17/class. This Winter at The Fairmount Center…
Seniors Stretch, Balance, & Strengthen: Fridays 2-3pm, January 8- May 3. Specifically designed for seniors ages 60+, this Fairmount Center fitness class will incorporate both standing and seated postures and movements using chairs and dance barres as props. No need to get on the floor! Adapted for various abilities. Chairs and dance barres provided. Bring a yoga mat and optional light hand weights. Sign up HERE.
Yoga: Tuesdays 9:30-10:30am, January 9- April 30. All-levels yoga practice including breathing exercises, meditation and a flow of floor and standing postures. Bring a yoga mat. Sign up HERE.
Deep Relaxation (Virtual Only & On Demand): Mondays 7:30-8:15pm, January 8- April 29. Be guided into a state of deep relaxation in the comfort of your own home with this Zoom-only class. Set up in a quiet space with a yoga mat, blanket, bolster, or pillow. Sign up HERE.
