Gone to the Dogs Art Reception
Come see what happens when ballerinas unite with puppies in training (dogs are from Guiding Eyes for the Blind). Evening includes refreshments, get you and your pup's picture taken by Prelude Photography, dance performance by Fairmount Dance Company and more. Thanks to ToddV for taking the photos of ballerinas and pups in July which will be unveiled at this non-traditional art opening. Free and open to the community including well-behaved four-legged friends on leash.

Paper Mache Pumpkins! These little pumpkins will be adored for years to come! We will start our form over a real pumpkin using the traditional paper mache technique. Ages 5-10 years Arts exploration! Join us for an afternoon camp filled with art samplings- which could include theatre, dance, and visual art- from Fairmount instructors! ONE-DAY WORKSHOP: Onsite TWO AGE GROUPS: Ages 5-7 years (with accompanying adult): 10:00-11:00am Ages 8-11 years: 11:30am-12:30pm Paint, cut, glue! Create cool penguins with personality using a variety of colored papers and mixed media. Students will also examine the work of author Eric Carle who is a famous book author/illustrator who uses collage to illustrate his books. Dress for creativity!
