  Hannah Barna
 
 

Hannah Barna is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University’s MFA in Contemporary dance program, receiving the Grace J. Petot Award for Excellence in Research in Dance and the Henry Kurth Award for Excellence in Theatrical design in 2015. She also holds a BA from CWRU in biology and theater arts with a concentration in dance, receiving the Lily Dreyfuss Award from Excellence in Dance in 2012. Barna has performed works by Mark Morris, Jim Hanson, Karen Potter, and has been personally coached by Pascal Rioult for his duet, Black Diamond. Combining her interests in dance and science, Barna has presented at numerous International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) conferences, most recently in October 2015 in Pittsburgh. Currently, Barna is an adjunct faculty member at CWRU, as well as teaching Ballet V at Fairmount and co-coordinating FDT.
