Sensational Saturdays: “Nature Leaf Alchemy” with Giovanni Bocchieri

For ages 12+

This season is especially great for walks in nature, and one of its aspects that people delight in seeing is the tremendous variety of leaves. If you are a lover of nature, you will surely enjoy this class.

The class will give you the opportunity to paint real leaves of your choice. The leaf will be your canvas. Your instructor will guide you in creating and enhancing the beauty of each leaf, using a variety of paints, inks, and lacquers. Come prepared to be thrilled with the ornamental beauty of the leaves you enhance.

The instructor will bring a limited number of prepared leaves for each student to use. For that reason, students are encouraged to search nature for their favorite dried and flattened leaves to bring to class. Bring an old magazine to keep the leaves preserved in transit. Each student will make multiple leaves during the class.
