Sam Brenner & Friends – A Concert for the Arts
Did you know that Fairmount has a board member who was once named one of Northeast Ohio’s “25 Artists to Watch” by The Plain Dealer, “Artist of the Week” by Scene Magazine, and opened for national acts such as Lifehouse, The Verve Pipe, and Lee DeWyze? His name is Sam Brenner, and we are thrilled that he’ll be headlining a one-night-only concert on Saturday, September 23rd. All concert proceeds will benefit Fairmount Center for the Arts’ mission of enriching lives through the arts.
You can listen to Sam’s music on iTunes, Spotify, and YouTube. His harmonious debut album, Where We Begin, showcases an emotional depth & subtle confidence. His Here at Home EP highlights his growth as a songwriter. At the core of Sam’s music are his lyrics – honest commentaries that seem easily relatable and delicately personal to the human experience.
But it was Sam’s live performances that captivated audiences in clubs, coffeehouses, and colleges around the country, including at The Beachland Ballroom & Tavern, Brother’s Lounge, The Grog Shop, John Carroll University, Music Box Supper Club, and Nighttown. Through a melodic combination of vocal & guitar looping techniques, Sam’s live show is purely unique and something you won’t want to miss.
Fairmount’s own Youth Chamber Ensemble will open the show at 4:00 pm. This will be a wonderful evening celebrating music and Fairmount. Get your tickets today…before we sell out!
