AUDITION: Fairmount Youth Chamber Ensemble

Fairmount is offering a new Youth Chamber Ensemble class for students concurrently enrolled in private lessons and who have the desire to learn how to rehearse and perform as a team! Auditions for the Ensemble are January 9 from 6:30-8pm. The class will run from January 16-May 1. Fee includes class registration.

Students will be divided into groups of 2-5 based on level and interest. Learn how to sight-read efficiently, make musical decisions as a group, and lead an ensemble. Repertoire will be decided based on the students’ interest and can range from classical to pop to jazz. Students will be placed based on instructors recommendation, an audition, and genre interests. Students may audition on an instrument
other than the one they take private lessons on at Fairmount.
