Fairmount Center for the Arts'
Writers' Conference

Fairmount Center for the Arts is an educational and performance arts center, dedicated to the advancement of the arts in Ohio.  Our mission is to enhance the arts through excellence in training and performance for people of all ages and levels of mastery, from early youth to seasoned professional. Our programming challenges, enriches and nurtures, providing self-confidence and understanding that encourages each student to thrive as a creative individual.

Over the past three years, Fairmount has been laying the foundation for an arts mentoring philosophy in its training.  We are gathering artists, actors, dancers, directors, writers and others from the professional world and have been integrating them and their expertise in our various schools.  Our new programming has been met with tremendous success in both the student's enthusiastic response and from the professionals, who find themselves invigorated working with such eager students with open, teachable spirits.

That's one of the real strengths of Fairmount Center for the Arts:  whatever age a person joins us, they will enter into a program that will challenge them to reach their personal best! Growing every step of the way. It is our goal to be the premiere Arts Center in Northeast Ohio.

The Fairmount Center for the Arts Writers' Conference in October is a major endeavor in our arts mentoring plan.  With the inclusion of so many remarkable and successful nationally recognized writers, this exciting conference will serve as a springboard to a highly respected and vital writing program for the state of Ohio and beyond.
