NEW YORK CITY AND BROADWAY - AUGUST 5 - 8, 2008

Once again we will be offering a spectacular trip to New York City!

The four day and three night trip will include three Broadway musicals or plays, (with an option for a fourth play at an additional cost) NYC sightseeing destinations, at least one workshop with a Broadway performer (and maybe two!) and for the first time, more “theatre – centric” sightseeing destinations such as touring a scenery-building shop, a costume shop, etc.

The shows we are seeing will be decided in the near future. There will be several choices for two of the Show slots. Some possibilities are Young Frankenstein, Jersey Boys, Come Back Little Sheba, Curtains, Gypsy, Mama Mia!, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Spring Awakening, Rock 'N Roll, Sunday in the Park with George, South Pacific, Grease and others.

ITINERARY
Here is a general itinerary for the trip. As Broadway shows, guest artists, and tours are arranged this information will be updated.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 5
6:00am - Participants arrive at Chagrin Falls High School parking lot and board the 55 Passenger Cleveland Southeastern Motorcoach.
6:30am - Depart for New York City!
9:00am - Restroom stop On I-80 In Pennsylvania
11:30am - Lunch stop @ Buckhorn, Pennsylvania (Wendy's, KFC, Burger King) - $7.00 cash handed out to each person.
2:00pm - Restroom stop New Jersey Welcome Center.
4:00pm - Arrive New York City - Chinatown & Little Italy, sightseeing/shopping/dinner - $20 cash handed out to each person.
8:00pm - Broadway Show.
11:00pm - Check-In Hampton Inn Meadowlands,
(201-935-9000) Carlstadt, New Jersey,
Room check & goodnight.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 6
8:00am - Hot/Cold Continental breakfast at hotel.
9:00am - Depart hotel.
10:00am - Workshop with Broadway Guest Artist.
Noon - Rockefeller Center Area, Lunch - $7.00 cash handed out to each person.
1:00pm - Top Of The Rock Observation Deck.
2:00pm - Shopping in Central Park area, Times Square, more Chinatown or to be decided.
OR
Broadway Show (optional for additional fee).
4:30pm - Times Square shopping.
6:30pm - Dinner at Mama Sbarros -Times Square Buffet.
8:00pm - Broadway Show.
11:00pm - Return To hotel.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 7
8:00am - Hot/Cold Continental Breakfast at hotel.
9:00am - Depart hotel.
10:00am - Workshop with Broadway Guest Artist OR tour a Scenery Building Shop.
Noon - Deli Sandwich Lunch in Central Park, Carriage Rides Central Park - Columbus Circle Area.
2:30pm - Backstage tour, Costume or Scenery Shop tour.
5:30pm - Dinner at Manna's - Harlem Soulfood Buffet.
8:00pm - Broadway Show.
11:00pm - Return To Hotel.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 8
8:00am - Hot/Cold Continental breakfast at hotel.
9:00am - Depart Hotel.
10:30am - Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island National Parks,
$7.00 cash handed out for Deli Lunch.
2:00pm - Depart For Home, Restroom stops enroute.
6:00pm - Dinner At Buckhorn, Pennsylvania fast food restaurants, $7.00 Cash handed out to each person.
11:30pm - Arrive at Chagrin Falls High School parking lot

Fee:
$825 per person for a 4 person room
$915 per person for a 2 person room
- Three shows are included in the fees above. There is an additional $100 required if you want to see a fourth show on Wednesday afternoon.
