Kaylin Major
|
Kaylin Major is an incoming sophomore at Kent State University majoring in theatre and dance with a focus in acting. This is her first year working with FPAC and she is beyond excited.
Although Kaylin’s main focus is acting, she avidly loves directing, choreographing, and writing. Her production credits include: The Caucasian Chalk Circle, Hamlet, Elegies, Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You, Lysistrata, Taming of the Shrew, Othello, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Over the Tavern, Footloose, Grease, Animal Crackers, The Crucible, Romeo and Juliet Produced and Directed by Quince, Romeo and Juliet, Rumors, and The Three Musketeers.
In high school she was appointed the State Student Officer of Northern Ohio and it was one of the greater accomplishments of her life thus far. She had the privilege of teaching and organizing high school theatre students all around Ohio. Working in conjunction with the Ohio Educational Theatre Association board she and 5 others students
planned and put on the North Area Conference and ultimately the State Conference for the ‘06-’07 school year. While in high school she also
accomplished the goal of Honor Bar Thespian and serving on her theatre council board.
