Pat Haynish holds a BS in Music Education from Truman State University (Missouri) and an MS in Theatre and Music (Creative Arts Education) from Carthage College (Wisconsin).

Pat has taught music for the Chagrin Falls Schools for the past twenty years, teaching in every building in the district. Currently she is the Music Department Chair and teaches at Gurney Elementary School. She also founded and directs the Select Choir (Gr. 5-6) at Chagrin Falls Intermediate School. Her theatre and directing experience spans 30 years of working with high schools, churches and community theatres in Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Michigan and Ohio. In the Cleveland area Pat has provided Musical Direction for Berea Summer Theatre, Cassidy Theatre, Willoughby Fine Arts and Solon High School where she has been involved for 18 years. The Chagrin Falls High School productions of Into the Woods (2001) and Fiddler on the Roof (2002) were directed and produced by Mrs. Haynish. Pat and her former husband (Bob Keller) founded the Solon Schools Summer Musical Theatre Workshop 13 years ago. Six years ago she started a similar program for Chagrin Falls Students. Currently Pat is finishing her fifth year as director of the Children’s Choir at Garfield Church in Pepper Pike. No stranger to summer camp, Mrs. Haynish worked for Girl Scouts of Greater St. Louis as a camp counselor/director for six years and participated in two international Girl Scout trips to Taiwan/Hong Kong and Barbados.

Pat is extremely proud of past students who have gone on to professional careers in the arts, including the director of Philip Morris Talent Agency in Nashville, the technical director for Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago and performers in Wicked, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Mamma Mia! on Broadway.
