| FPAC 2005 will be an incredible summer! We've moved to fantastic new facilities at Laurel School in Shaker Heights! Close to everything! Wonderful classrooms, a great theatre, a dance studio with mirrors, tennis courts, ball fields, and field trips to the new Laurel School Facilities on Fairmount Road for outdoor fun. All new students and 2004 FPAC Production Workshop students are required to audition for the camp. Returning students from the 2004 FPAC Professional Training Intensive do NOT need to audition and may register NOW.
|
The Summer Program SESSION 2 WHAT IS FPAC? Students will receive training in all three genres, but may pick an “emphasis” if they so desire. WHAT WOULD I STUDY? As an added bonus, a series of classes and workshops will be held during the session that will prepare our older, interested students for professional auditions and the college theatre program application process. A showcase production of Contemporary, Musical Theatre & Shakespeare scenes will be performed at the end of the session for parents, friends and invited area college educators and theatre professionals. WHEN DOES CAMP MEET? WHAT AGE GROUPS CAN STUDY? HOW DO I AUDITION AND REGISTER? Your audition should consist of either two short contrasting monologues or one monologue and one song. Please bring sheet music and an accompanist will be provided. No pre-recorded music will be accepted. |
