Music classes run January 2 through March 10

Instructors: Ann Cirvencic (violin, viola, group violin), Leah Goor (violin), Tara Klein (cello, group cello), Sanni Kearns (Suzuki Piano)
Age: 4-10 years
Location: Church of the Western Reserve
Private weekly lessons and Group Classes that meet every other week are available using the Suzuki method which is based on the premise that children learn to play an instrument in the same way they learn to talk by listening, imitation and repetition. This enables the very young child to begin an instrument before learning to read. Parent involvement at the lesson and the home practice are a key part in the teacher-parent-child relationship in developing a strong technique. Group Classes are an essential component of music development and technique where the children learn music theory and perform together. Group Classes are required for all students at this age level.
